Trips At least twice a year we travel to Haiti with parishioners and interested friends. Our purpose is two fold: to become acquainted with the children, staff and sisters at our school in Leogane and the women who live at the Village of Jesus and secondly, to provide an opportunity for an immersion experience into the culture and lives of the people of Haiti. We arrange interactive visits to clinics, orphanages, hospitals, homes for the dying, feeding programs and other schools in the vicinity of Port au Prince. A visit to Haiti can be a life altering decision, giving one a chance to experience first hand a land of beauty but also a land of intense pain and suffering. We invite you to travel with us and upon your return, to tell others what you have seen and heard - to become the eyes and ears of our Haitian brothers and sisters. |
