The Eli Project
Eli is a cute little guy that we had the pleasure of meeting at a wellness center in Port au Prince, on the day that he was sporting a cute little superhero diaper. With a little investigation, we found out that the diaper was made from a gently-used t-shirt and an easy pattern and The Eli Project was started. Since then, our volunteers have made hundreds of diapers that we have delivered to the wellness center over several years.
We meet on the 5th Monday of the month in the community room at Annunciation Church iin Minneapolis. No experience is necessary. Some of us cut the pieces, some of us sew, and together the most adorable cloth diapers are created.
9/30/19, 12/30/19, 3/30/20, 6/29/20, 8/31/20 and 11/30/20. All meetings are from 6-9pm.
If you have a sewing shears or portable sewing machine, please do bring it. If not, your enthusiasm is all that is required.
